Sunshine To Continue With Temperatures Set For 24C Ahead Of Mixed Weekend

The sunshine looks set to continue with temperatures hitting 24C ahead of a mixed weekend.

Met Éireann have said that it is to remain dry and sunny until Friday, with the weekend set to turn cloudier, with showers a possibility, mostly in the east and south.

Following a foggy and misty morning, it will soon clear to bring spells of sunshine, with temperatures remaining between 17 and 22 degrees, with the eastern and southern coasts expected to see the coolest conditions, 

As for tonight, it is to be dry with clear skies, with some mist fog patches developing. Temperatures are to drop between 7 and 11 degrees. 

Mist and fog patches are also expected for tomorrow morning, which will then clear to leave dry conditions and long spells of sunshine. Temperatures are to stay between 20 and 24 degrees. However, the eastern coasts are to experience cooler conditions.

It is to be a similar story for Friday with mist and fog clearing in the morning, with sunny spells for many parts of the country. It will turn cloudier in the east coast, with the chance of light showers. 

Temperatures are to stay between 17 and 22 degrees, remaining cooler in the east coast.

It will be dry and clear for Friday, especially for the western part of the country, with some patches of mist and fog. It will be cloudier in the east, with the possibility of some drizzle patches or light showers. Temperatures are to drop to between 9 and 14 degrees.

As for the weekend, Saturday morning is to be cloudy again, with patches of drizzle mainly over Leinster and Munster, before brightening up in the afternoon for most parts. Some showers are also expected. 

Temperatures are to stay between 16 and 20 degrees, once again remaining coolest in the east.
