Travis Kelce has called Prince William "the coolest motherf*****" after meeting the Prince of Wales at a Taylor Swift show last weekend.

The NFL star met up with the Royal backstage ahead of Swift's performance at the event. Kelce, his brother Jason and Taylor met Prince William, and his children Prince George and Princess Charlotte.

Prince William attended the first of Swift's three concerts at Wembley Arena, celebrating his 42nd birthday. At the show, he was spotted dancing to Taylor's live performance of 'Shake It Off' at Wembley.

Speaking on Jason's New Heights podcast, the pair recalled meeting the royals, with Travis saying:  “We met royalty, guys. There was royalty at the show, I was fortunate enough that I didn’t get caught up in traffic long enough to where I got there early and got to meet Prince William".

The Super Bowl winner continued: “Dude, he was the coolest motherfucker. He was so cool".

Elsewhere, the brothers also admitted they were unsure if they should bow when meeting the royals.

“They were an absolute delight to meet. Wasn’t sure if I was supposed to bow to them, curtsy, just be an American idiot and shake their hand… We wanted to be polite, especially on this side of the park".

The pair also revealed that meeting Princess Charlotte was the highlight of this experience.

“Prince William was fantastic, but the highlight was Princess Charlotte,” Jason Kelce stated. “She was so f****** adorable. She had fire to her. She was asking questions".

This was seconded by Travis, who added: “She was a superstar. She was awesome. I love it when parents ask their kids to be present, be vocal — such a good parent move. Let them feel comfortable talking to people. If anyone’s doing it right, Prince William’s doing it right".

Following the show, Taylor Swift shared a photo of the group on social media, wishing Prince William many happy returns.

“Happy Bday M8! London shows are off to a splendid start", she added.
