Two Hospitalised After Serious Assault In Cork

Gardaí are investigating all the circumstances in relation to an assault that occurred in Dunmanway, Co. Cork on Saturday 17th August, shortly after 7pm.

Two men, aged in their 30s, have been taken to Cork University Hospital with serious injuries.

The scene of the incident is currently preserved for a technical examination.

Two men, aged in their 30s and 70s, were arrested and are currently detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984 at a Garda station in the Southern Region.
