It appears that the sun is set to shine for Coldplay fans this weekend with sunny skies and clear spells set to shine across Croke Park for these sold-out dates this weekend.

This comes after Met Éireann has forecasted that temperatures are to reach between 16 and 20 degrees over the weekend.

Tonight is expected to be dry, with clear spells, along with some isolated patches of mist and fog, with temperatures set to drop between 7 and 13 degrees, before hitting heights of between 18 and 22 degrees on Saturday, which is expected to be “pleasant, mainly dry day with plenty of sunshine”, according to the national forecaster.

It will be cloudier along the south and southeastern coasts later in the day, with some isolated showers expected overnight.

The following days are to be changeable, with low pressure, showers and longer spells of rain becoming likely. Dry and sunny spells are also expected.

Dry weather is expected on Sunday, with most areas being bright. Sunny spells are also expected along the east and south, with cloudy conditions also predicted with light rain and drizzle.

Highest temperatures are also expected to hit between 18 and 21 degrees, before dropping to lows of 9 and 14 degrees overnight.

As for Monday, rain is to be hit the north and northeast, bringing some sunshine with showers which may turn heavy. Thunder is also expected in the west and southwest.

Temperatures are to reach highs of 15 and 19 degrees.

There is uncertainty in further forecasts later this week, but current indications suggest that high pressure is expected, bringing more settled weather.
