Lady Gaga has had her say on a Facebook group which was set up by her former classmates, which mocked her dreams of being famous.

This Facebook group which you can check out below, was set up by the singer's former classmates from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts.

Lady Gaga whose real name is Stefani Germanotta, briefly attended this school, before withdrawing in 2005 to focus on pursuing a career in music and acting.

Having started out by performing in clubs around New York under the name Lady Gaga, Germanotta's former classmates decided to create a Facebook group titled: ‘Stefani Germanotta, you will never be famous'.

This group saw Gaga's classmates mock and laugh at her for chasing her dreams.

Now, it is fair to say that Lady Gaga is the one having the last laugh, with the musician going on to become a household name in showbusiness as a famous singer and actor.

Gaga has since reacted to the since deleted Facebook group by commenting on a recent video posted to TikTok.

“Some people I went to college [with] made this way back when. This is why you can’t give up when people doubt you or put you down—gotta keep going", she remarked.

In the video, a slide showing all of Gaga's accolades was also shared, which include one Oscar, 13 Grammys, 3 Brits, 2 Golden Globes, 18 VMAs, 10 Guinness World Records among others.

With this roll of honour, it is certainly fair to say that Stefani Germanotta has had the last laugh indeed!
