Philip Schofield Announces TV Return With 'Story Of Survival'

Philip Schofield has announced a return to television with a Channel 5 special, Cast Away.

This special will see Schofield return to television, 16 months on from his much publicised departure from ITV's This Morning, after admitting to having an "unwise but not illegal" affair with a younger male colleague. 

The upcoming three part special, will see former presenter Schofield isolated on a tropical island off the coast of Madagascar.

"Now you know how I spent my Summer! Alone for 10 days, no food, no water, no crew", Schofield wrote on Instagram. "My story of survival, both on a desert island and off it". 

This new series will air across three nights, running from Monday to Wednesday.
