Taylor Swift has donated €25,000 to a Dublin charity following her recent run of shows in the capital.

While a myriad of cities have benefitted economically from Swift's ongoing Eras Tour, the singer has also been busy helping charity causes as well, making a generous donation to local charities and food banks after every stop during her tour, including Dublin.

Swift has made a donation after stop on this mammoth world tour, which kicked off 16 months ago.

Yesterday, it emerged that following her three sold out shows at the Aviva Stadium, Swift had donated €25,000 to Crosscare, a charity that provides food hampers to those in need.

This comes after Swift had donated to food banks in Liverpool and Cardiff, with one charity revealing that her gift would cover food donations for the next year.

Taylor Swift has also donated across the US, including helping to pay for meals worth $75,000 (€69,000) in contributions to the Food Bank of the Rockies.

While her management team have not always been forthcoming in disclosing the exact amount of money donated each time by Swift, her contributions have been described as significant, while the food banks also benefit from being associated with a musician of her calibre.
