Actress Trina McGree Announces She Is Pregnant

US sitcom star Trina McGree has announced that she is pregnant.

The 54 year old confirmed this news via Instagram, with a post which was set to the song Baby Love by The Supremes, including the caption: "Gonna sign off social media for a bit. Thanks for your prayers and well wishes in advance". 

"At the tender age of 54 I have found myself pregnant. Please bless us with your prayers for a safe delivery. Thank you", McGree wrote.

Trina McGree is renowned for her role in the US sitcom, Boy Meets World, where she starred as Angela Moore, love interest of Shawn Hunter, who was played by Rider Strong from 1997 to 2000. 

Other roles that McGree has been credited with include 1990s series Family Matters, Martin, and The Sinbad Show. She also featured in the 1996 film Daylight. Last year, McGree appeared in the film Classmates. 

Boy Meets World ran from 1993 to 2000, focusing on a group of teenagers juggling friends, school and romance, starring Ben Savage and Danielle Fishel. 

The actress is already mother to three children, two with her ex husband Courtland Davis, with the former couple slitting in 2001. She has another child from a previous relationship. 

McGree is currently married to her husband Marcello Thedford. They have been married for the past 16 years.
