Taylor Swift has thanked her Irish fans for a "wild weekend".

The US singer performed in front of 150,000 fans across three sold out shows at Dublin's Aviva Stadium, as part of her Eras Tour from June 28-30.

Thanking her fans, Swift said that they made her feel "so at home", adding that she is "still smiling thinking about it now".

"I knew as soon as I saw the first Dublin crowd on Friday night that we were in for a wild weekend… the spirit of those 3 glorious crowds embodied fun and joy and exuberance, and we just felt so lucky to be there", she wrote on Instagram.

"The Irish fans made us feel so at home, so welcome in every way. Still smiling thinking about it now", she added, "See you soon, Amsterdam!!".

Taylor Swift's will perform three consecutive shows at the Johan Cruyff Arena in Amsterdam from Thursday to Saturday this week, before taking in shows in Switzerland, Italy, Germany, Poland and Austria, before returning to the UK for five shows at Wembley Stadium in August.

Following her third and final performance at the venue, Taylor Swift also partied at the city centre's Hacienda Bar with boyfriend Travis Kelce, as well as musicians, dancers, support act Paramore, and Fleetwood Mac star Stevie Nicks, who attended the show.

On this, bar owner Shay Duignan said: "They were lovely. We were delighted to have them".

He added: "It was a late one".
