Gardaí in Cork have launched an investigation after a man was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated in Co Cork.
The arrest happened while gardaí were on patrol in Midleton on Monday night.
Gardaí have said that the car the man was driving was extensively damaged and did not have a right front tyre!!
The man was stopped while he was driving through Midleton town.
Gardaí said that a blood sample was obtained and sent for analysis and that an investigation is ongoing.
