Gardaí in Cork are investigating all the circumstances surrounding the discovery of a man’s body, at a residential property on Dominic Street, Cork city in the early hours of this morning Sunday 8th December, 2024.
Gardaí and emergency services were alerted to the incident at approximately 1am.
The man, aged in his 50s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
His body remains at the scene, which is currently preserved.
A spokesperson for An Garda Síochána said the Coroner has been notified and a “post mortem will take place in due course.”
Investigations are said to be ongoing.
