The body of a woman in her 30's has been discovered at a house in Co. Cork.
Gardai are investigating all of the circumstances surrounding the discovery this morning at Bridewell Lane in Mallow.
The Assistant State Pathologist has attended the scene, and the woman's body will be removed to Cork University Hospital for a post-mortem exam.
The Garda Technical Bureau has been asked to attend.
Gardai are appealing for witnesses, in particular anyone who was near Bridewell Lane between 9pm last night and 10am this morning to contact them, particularly anybody who might have phone or dash-cam footage.
