Following four hit singles and seven million albums sold, B*Witched who consisted of Irish twins Edel and Keavy Lynch, Sinéad O'Carroll and Lindsay Armaou disbanded the group in 2002.
Speaking about their split, Edele Lynch denied that it came about due to tension between the members.
"There was no falling out in the band, there genuinely wasn't", she insisted. "After the band, Sinead and I called it a falling out, but it was more like we needed to take the space and get to know ourselves without each other".
Last year, the group returned to tour with British boyband Blue live on stage for several shows across Britain last year, including trips to Cardiff, Nottingham, Bournmouth, Leeds, Manchester, Liverpool, Birmingham, along with Glasgow and Aberdeen in December 2022.
Since the, B*Witched also released a new single 'Birthday', coinciding with the 25th anniversary of their self-titled debut album.
"It’s a song about being in a bad relationship and once you’re out of it you think it’s your birthday", Edele explained. "You're moving on. It's about empowerment. If things get you down, find something else".
