Dublin Fire Brigade had a hectic Halloween night, responding to over 50 incidents from Balbriggan to Bray.

Among the emergencies were a derelict house fire in Tallaght and burning trees near the Port Tunnel.

Of the 494 fire calls they received, 421 were Halloween-related, alongside 435 ambulance calls—an increase from previous years' declining call trends.

Pre-Halloween efforts, such as removing over 500 tons of bonfire material, helped limit fire risks.

Beyond Halloween-specific incidents, crews also dealt with apartment and house fires, road accidents, and several firework-related injuries. Some crews encountered anti-social behavior, though no injuries were reported.

In 2022, Dublin Fire Brigade received 244 fire calls (185 Halloween-related) and 385 EMS calls, indicating a rise in both categories this year.
