Ireland is set welcome its first ever LEGO store with the arrival of Grafton Street’s latest edition coming this summer. Explore the world of LEGO® through games, videos, products, building toys, and brick sets to find the perfect gift for your kid.
Shoppers will have a variety of activities to keep them entertained in this unique shop, where they can get personalised gifts will be made by visitors in the store. Make birthday and Christmas presents a truly personal experience by creating a miniature LEGO figure of your own.
A Pick a Brick Wall will also feature in the store, giving shoppers the choice of every part imaginable. According to reports, free build challenges and other events will be held in the store every month so LEGO enthusiasts can show off their craft.
Following “many years” of searching, VP of Global LEGO Retails Development, Simone Sweeney is delighted to have found a home for the country’s first LEGO store. The company has been looking for the “perfect site in Dublin. So, we were very excited when the opportunity came about to open on the vibrant Grafton Street.
“The new LEGO Store will be amongst some of the biggest and best brands in Dublin, in a shopping district loved by many local families and visitors alike. The city has been part of LEGO Retail’s expansion strategy for many years given the existing huge number of LEGO Fans in Ireland and the international customers typically found in the city,” she said.
Ireland’s first ever store will also pay homage to the country with some of our most iconic monuments recreated as LEGO figures. VIP members will be able to will earn double points and exclusive gifts with purchases made in the store.
Ms Sweeney expressed her delight for the Irish LEGO community as the new Dublin store will “allow builders of all ages to be inspired by endless play possibilities and for new builders to welcome them into a new, exciting journey of discovery into the LEGO universe.
“We are also excited to be revealing the new LEGO retail platform in this market with innovative retail-first experiences and a destination for product launches, events and a hub for our Irish LEGO fan community.”
