Dublin's tallest building, a 25-storey tower, has been given the green light.
Developer Johnny Ronan has secured planning permission for the residential tower in the docklands as reported the Irish Times.
550 apartments are planned across three blocks as part of the Waterfront South Central scheme, that will include a restaurant and viewing terrace at the top of the tallest building.
The city's first floating pontoon park is also planned as part of the development.
Waterfront South Central is Dublin’s first carbon-positive campus.
This docklands development by Ronan Real Estate encompasses three residential towers and four commercial buildings, setting a new standard for sustainability in the city.
The proposed development will be the third-largest mixed-use project in the capital after the Glass Bottle scheme fronting on to Sandymount Strand, which RGRE is developing in partnership with Lioncor Developments Ltd and Oaktree Capital Management, and the Spencer Dock development just up the Liffey on North Wall Quay.
