A man's been injured after being shot in Dublin. The shooting happened in Clondalkin yesterday evening.
The situation unfolded when a gunman fired at least one shot at the man at Cherrywood Grove in Clondalkin at around 5 o'clock yesterday evening.
He was shot in the face.
The man in his 20s has been brought to Tallaght Hospital where he's being treated for injuries which aren't believed to be life-threatening.
The scene has been sealed off and a technical examination has been completed. No arrests have been made.
Gardai are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
In particular, anyone who was in the Cherrywood Grove area and surrounding roads between 5pm and 5.30pm yesterday, and who may have been in Corkagh Park at these times, is asked to contact Clondalkin Garda Station.
