Kielty who takes over from former host Ryan Tubridy, is keen to release these figures to the public domain, once it goes through the approriate channels, including RTÉ's rumuneration committee.
The Oirechtas Committee have stated that Kielty's fee could be made public by tomorrow (Friday), subject to agreement with the Remuneration committee.
The committee also reportedly negotiated with RTÉ's Chief Financial Offiicer, Director of Content and legal department with Kielty regarding this remuneration.
This comes following calls from several TD's including Public Accounts Committee member Clem Burke, for the figures to be made public, amid the recent controversy over the Ryan Tubridy payement scandal.
Sínn Féin TD Padraig Mac Lochlainn also added, "I think there is a culture in the higher echelons of many organisations, but whatever about the private sector, it's unacceptable in the public sector, to have this type of approach, this sense of entitlement where you can obscure arrangements around payments, and I think people are outraged about that".
