The high demand has led to increased calls for management to address the issue and prioritise the planning for purpose built homes.
Students have been seen trying to sleep in bathrooms, in cars and other places within the universities campus, in order to keep up with their studies.
A protest has been organised on the UL campus for tomorrow (Thursday), calling on management to take immediate action to protect students.
