Hip hop legend 50 Cent is gearing up for a return to Ireland with a performance in Dublin’s 3 Arena. Following shows in London's SSE Arena Wembley on June 10th, and Manchester’s Parklife festival on June 11th, the Just a Lil Bit rapper will be In Da Dub on June 12th, 2022.
Fiddy, whose real name is Curtis James Jackson III, returns to the Irish capital for the first time since the rapper bounced the same venue in 2018. Tickets to the “much anticipated” gig will go on sale to the general public on Friday morning, 28th January, at 9am. Although 3 customers can avail of an exclusive presale from 10am tomorrow on ticketmaster.ie, with prices starting at €59.50.
50 Cent shot to fame in the Emerald Isle in the early 2000s, following the release of his debut album, Get Rich or Die Tryin', which has since sold more than 30 million albums worldwide. In January 2020, he received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, just weeks before scooping an NAACP Image Award for directing the crime drama series, Power.
From Get Rich or Die Tryin', which was one of the fastest selling albums in history, the rapper has released five studio albums to date. As smooth in the boardroom as he is on the microphone, 50 also created one of the most influential deals in hip-hop, with the sale of Vitaminwater. His latest being 2014's, Animal Ambition, though he did share the 15-song strong Solid Gold Rhymes to streaming services in 2019.
