Adele Embraces Meryl Streep At Vegas Show While Dressed As Her Character From 'Death Becomes Her'

At her recent show on Las Vegas, Adele embraced Meryl Streep while dressed as her character from 1992 film Death Becomes Her. 

Adele has been performing the latest set of Vegas shows at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace, which will see her perform at the venue on November 8, 9, 15, 16, 22 and 23.

At her Vegas show last Friday (November 1), Adele dressed up as Streep's character Madeline Ashton frim black comedy 'Death Becomes Her'.

The film, which sees Streep star alongside Goldie Hawn and Bruce Willis, has enjoyed a recent surge in popularity after singer Sabrina Carpenter had shared a video for 'Taste', where she and Jenna Ortega referred to in the film throughout.

Last Friday, Adele was midway through her performance of 'When We Were Young', noticed Meryl Streep in the audience. She said a quick "hello", before embracing her.

What a f****** honour,” she shouted, adding: “I love you” before continuing with the song.

Back in July, Adele revealed that she intends to take a "big break" when her Vegas residency finishes up this month. She said she plans to spend more time with her partner Rich Paul and her song Angelo, 11, who she shares with her ex husband Simon Konecki.
