Miley Cyrus has shared her latest single, 'Prelude' from her forthcoming album, 'Something Beautiful'.
The track which you can check out below, will feature on the singer's new album, which arrives on May 30 via Columbia, and album which will also see Cyrus serve as executive producer for, alongside Shawn Everett.
The album which was teased by Cyrus earlier this month, was co produced by Cyrus, as well as Everett, Michael Pollack, Jonathan Rado, as well as her boyfriend Maxx Morando.
'Something Beautiful' will be Cyrus' ninth studio release, featuring 13 songs, and will show her delivering spoken word segments, as well as an orchestra-led instrumental with droning synth.
“Like when following an image from a train, your eyes can’t keep the passing landscapes from being swallowed into endless distance", Miley Cyrus said. “Like when holding a fist full of ashes, your hands can’t save the things that have already been dissolved into air".
She added: “Like when facing the sun through a window, your skin feels warmth but you can’t be in the world that its warmth has made alive. Like walking alone through a lucid dream like saying your name aloud in an empty room".
In the video, Miley Cyrus looks down the camera, saying that “the beauty one finds alone is a prayer that longs to be shared”.
