Irish singer Cian Ducrot has reflected on his incredible rise to superstardom.
The singer has been nominated for a Grammy Award in the Best R&B Song category, with his collaboration with singer-songwriter SZA, Saturn.
Reflecting on his rise to fame, Cian Ducrot called it "fantastic", and "life changing".
"It’s funny to think of it as a couple of months, when it’s been a couple of years really, when I look back at my camera roll", Ducrot said. "It’s been life changing. When things you have worked for your whole life sort of come to fruition, it feels like you are living in a dream".
He added: "It’s an amazing thing, I feel very lucky".
Cian Ducrot first came to prominence through the sharing of his online content via TikTok in 2022. He went on to reach number 2 in the Irish Singles Chart, as well as playing in front of a sold out crowd in Cork's Musgrave Park last June.
Last month, Cian Ducrot also announced a live show at Cork's Live At The Marque for 2025. More on this here.
Ducrot is also set to release a new single, 'Who's Making You Feel It' this Friday (January 17). He said he played this track to Ed Sheeran over a "delicious curry", a few months ago.
“He demanded I put it out next so here we are", he said of the track, adding that he is on “a huge phase of my journey”.
It has even been reported that Ducrot is working on a second album.
"It is important to continue to move on, and to continue to build into the next chapter, which is where I am at now. I’m very excited", he said.
