Ed Sheeran has built a new pub 'The Old Phone' in Ipswich, USA, named after his new song.
Celebrating the release of his forthcoming album, 'Play', which will feature this track, Sheeran has reportedly built a pub in Ipswich, Massachussetts, which is also the same name as his hometown in the UK.
The singer recently turned up at the place to play some songs, including new single, 'Azizam'. He also performed a cover of Chappell Roan's track, 'Pink Pony Club'.
Posting a reel of himself singing, 'Azizam' on Instagram, Sheeran wrote: “Built a pub in Ipswich MA for one night only. Did a trad jam with Beoga. ‘Azizam’ goes off, out April 4th gang”.
Footage also shows Sheeran explaining that his manager had proposed he perform Roan's track for a segment on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, with Sheeran learning the song in just three days, before later discovering that he only needed to learn a verse for the segment.
Despite this, Sheeran performed a cover of this track at The Old Phone pub.

This comes after Sheeran had previously revealed the titles of his next five albums, having been inspired by Quentin Taratino to call a halt after 10 releases. More on this report here.
