Having announced plans to reunite, Five are to play their first Irish concert in 25 years.

This show had already announced plans to reunite for a major tour of the UK, including shows in Bournemouth, Cardiff, Nottingham, Liverpool, Manchester, London, Newcastle, Aberdeen and Glasgow. This tour kicks off on October 31.

Now, due to popular demand, Five have announced that they will also play shows at Belfast's SSE Arena on 22 November, and Dublin's 3Arena on November 23. Tickets go for pre sale on next Monday (March 10), before going on general sale on March 11 at 10am. Find out how you can get tickets for these shows here.

The band will treat fans to their classic chart topping hits, including, 'Let's Dance', 'Keep On Movin', and 'We Will Rock You'.

Prayers Answered

Last month, Five bandmember J Brown had admitted that he "never" thought that the band would get back together.

"A few years back I went through a personal thing that was quite stressful and it just brought up a load of stuff", Brown said.

“I was overcome with sadness that I was never going to do this again", he added. “Around five weeks later Abz messaged and said: ‘I really need to speak with you.’ It was like I had put a prayer out to the world and he answered it".

On this reunion, bandmate Scott Robinson also remarked: "This has been a long time coming and it really does feel right for all of us now 25 years on and we’re so ready for it. Reconnecting as a five over the last year has been special, and I know I speak for all the boys when I say we can’t wait to do this all over again. Hope you’re ready!!".

Five had originally formed in 1997, and became the first UK act to hit the UK Top 10 with all 11 of their singles, with three of them reaching No 1.
