Robbie Williams has admitted that he hates the lyrics to his his single, 'Millennium', saying that he "could have done better there".
The track which you can check out below, featured on Williams' 1998 album, 'I've Been Expecting You'. It was also the first single from Williams to hit top spot in the UK singles chart.
The track also features a hint of the theme from James Bond movie, 'You Only Live Twice'.
However, in a recent interview, Robbie Williams has admitted that he hates this song.
Taking to Instagram, Williams' interviewer Colin Paterson wrote: “I interviewed Robbie Williams for @bbcbreakfast about his Golden Globe nominated chimpanzee biopic Better Man, which is spending its second week in the UK Box Office Top 10. He was very funny on his dislike of his own song ‘Millennium’".
Speaking about his single, Robbie Williams said, “I just don’t like the lyric in that song. I wrote that cr**".
Referring to his lyrics, the former Take That singer added: "We’ve got stars directing our fate’, have we? ‘And we’re praying it’s not too late‘, are they? ‘Cause we know we’re falling from grace,’ are we? ‘Millennium’ is just like welded onto the end there. So er you asked me my memories and mine are, ‘I could have done better there’".
Earlier this week, Robbie Williams had revealed that he was keen to make a "new Rat Pack album".
Williams said that he was keen to make a new album, having previously released a big band swing covers record, 'Swing When You're Winning' in 2001, and 'Swings Both Ways' in 2013.
