Sabrina Carpenter said that "Irish boys are hard work" at her recent show at Dublin's 3Arena this week.

The singer was performing at the venue on Tuesday, when she declared this to the audience.

Previously, Sabrina Carpenter had been in a romantic relationship with Irish actor Barry Keoghan. But the couple had reportedly split up in recent months. Keoghan had starred in Carpenter's music video for her hit, 'Please Please Please'.

Just before her live rendition of the track on Tuesday night, Sabrina Carpenter told the audience, "Dublin, it's so lovely to be here. You all look and sound amazing".

The singer added: "But my goodness, these Irish boys are hard work".

Carpenter will now bring her tour across to the UK, starting with Birmingham tomorrow. See more information on the singer's tour dates via this link here.

Reports of Keoghan and Carpenter's relationship were first reported in late 2023, before the pair debuted at the Vanity Fair Oscars Party in March last year. Later that year, they also attended the Met Gala, before splitting up last December.
