American actor Seth Rogen said he didn't know that Adele’s concert was being televised and felt “a lot of pressure” sitting in the front row.
In an appearance on 'The Howard Stern Show', the 42 year old spoke about what it was like to attend Adele’s ‘One Night Only’ televised concert in Los Angeles with his wife. Rogen revealed that they had “shockingly little information” before the show but still got “incredibly high” in the car on the way to the venue.
The couple actually had no idea that the concert was to be televised, let alone that they had front row seats.
“We get there, they give us our tickets and our seat numbers are A1 and A2. I was like, ‘Oh no! That seems close, that seems very close,’” he said. “We slowly are walking and we find our seats and we could not be more front and centre in this show, and they’re filming the whole thing”.
“It’s like a huge primetime special, which I did not know at all. There’s literally a camera crew and a rig like six inches in front of us. I’m just like, ‘What the f*ck is going on right now?’ I’ve never met Adele, I’ve never seen Adele in real life before. I was like, ‘How did this happen?’”
Despite being high, Rogen said he spent the whole concert focusing on keeping a straight face. “The whole time I’m just like, ‘Well, I gotta act like I look like an engaged concertgoer throughout this experience,'” He laughed. “I think I kept it together, but it was a lot of pressure”.
The comedy actor is an outspoken advocate for the legalisation of weed and actually has his own cannabis company, Houseplant, which sells different strains of the drug as well as accessories for smoking where the drug is legalised.
