Met Éireann Predict Dry Conditions With Sunny Spells As Temperatures To Hit 21C

Following a foggy and patchy morning, dry weather will arrive with sunny spells, as well as a slight chance of a showers in the Atlantic coastal counties, according to the national forecaster.

A mixture of cloud and sunny intervals have also been forecasted, with some light showers in the west.

By the evening, the sky is to become overcast across the western part of the country, with patchy and drizzle coming in from the Atlantic. Temperatures are to remain between 17 and 21 degrees.

Outbreaks of rain in the western and northern regions have also been predicted for the evening, which are to extend south-eastwards overnight, turning heavy in places. Temperatures are to drop to between 13 and 16 degrees.

Following a cloudy and damp star on Thursday, outbreaks of rain and drizzle are also expected, with temperatures ranging between 17 and 21 degrees.

Drier and brighter conditions have been forecasted for the afternoon, especially in the west and north, with patchy rain and drizzle lingering for a time in other places. These brighter conditions are to extend across the country by the evening.

Thursday evening is to remain dry, with long clear spells, while there still remains a chance of rain for the southern coastal areas for a brief period overnight. Temperatures are to drop to between 7 and 10 degrees.

As for Friday, conditions are to remain dry for most of the country, with the east and south to experience the best of the sunshine, with a few light showers set to move into western and north-western regions at times.

Temperatures are to remain between 16 and 20 degrees, dropping to between 10 and 13C by Friday night.

Some light showers are also expected overnight in the west and north for Friday, remaining dry elsewhere with clear spells.
