Met Éireann have said that temperatures are to move into the 20s across parts of the country this week, as this recent spell of fine weather looks set to continue.
The national forecaster has that today will remain dry and sunny, with temperatures to veer in between 12 and 18 degrees, with the west and northwest of the country to be mildest. Tonight is to also remain dry and clear for the most part.
Temperatures are expected to drop to between 1 and 7 degrees.
Thursday is to see drier and sunnier weather, with a breezy, freshening easterly wind. Some cloud and showery rain is also expected to spread from southern countries later in the evening. Temperatures are to stay between 13 and 19 degrees.
Thursday night is to see outbreaks of showery rain, with temperatures dropping between 5 and 10 degrees. Ulster is to see the driest, but coolest weather.
As for Friday, lingering showers of rain are expected for the early parts of the day, but it will remain dry and sunny. The best of the weather is to be seen in the west, with highest temperatures ranging between 13 and 21 degrees.
Friday night is to remain dry, with lowest temperatures of 1 to 7 degrees, with the coldest weather expected for Ulster, where frost is also expected.
Looking ahead to the weekend, temperatures are to drop, leading to slightly colder nights. But sunny and dry conditions are still expected, with Met Éireann promising more "pleasant days" around the corner.
Next week, the weather is to remain dry, with the mildest conditions predicted for the west of the country.
