Status Yellow snow and ice warnings have been put in place for Cavan, Monaghan, and Connacht, which will take effect from 2am tomorrow evening, and expire at 6pm tomorrow evening.
While this warning remains in place, rain is to turn to sleet and snow, leaving ice on untreated surfaces, leading to difficult travelling conditions, and poor visibility.
The national forecaster have also confirmed that a separate Status Yellow warning has been placed in Donegal, taking effect at 11am tomorrow, and lasting until 8pm.
Northern Ireland has also received a Yellow snow warning, which will take effect from 6am until 6pm Friday, with a period of snowfall bringing some disruption, according to the UK Met Office.
As for tomorrow, Met Éireann have said that the day will begin "cloudy and breezy with wintry outbreaks, bringing some further sleet and snow in places".
