Three Big Euromillions Wins - Players Urged To Check Tickets

EuroMillions players have been urged to check their tickets after a hat-trick of winners was made — with two people winning the top prize during the EuroMillions Plus draw.

The two plus players, from Cork and Galway, are now both €500,000 richer after scooping the top plus prize on Friday’s draw (March 21).

In Galway the player picked up their ticket, a Quick Pick, on Thursday, March 20 at Concannons Daybreak, Ahascragh, Ballinasloe, Co Galway, while the Cork player picked up their winning ticket, also a Quick Pick, at Dunnes Stores, Ballyvolane Shopping Centre, Cork City on the day of the draw.

The EuroMillions Plus numbers were 13, 14, 17, 26 and 32.

While no one won the estimated €200million jackpot, one Kilkenny player came agonisingly close by matching five numbers — but will walk away €18,159 richer for their trouble.

The winning numbers on the main EuroMillions draw were 9, 17, 18, 21, 50 and the Lucky Stars were 5 and 12. The winning Quick Pick ticket was purchased at SuperValu, New Park Shopping Centre, Co Kilkenny on the day of the draw.

The trio of EuroMillions winners came as another player of the EuroDreams won €2,000 a month for the next 5 years — with the winning ticket being revealed as being sold in Maxol Garage, Turvey, Donabate, Co Dublin.

The winning numbers of the EuroDreams draw on March 20 were 16, 23, 25, 37, 38, 40 and the Dream number was 5.
