The singer treated 6th year students of Mount Temple Comprehensive to a private reading of his memoIr, which will be released on November 1.

Mount Temple Comprehensive was a major hangout for all U2 band members The Edge, Larry Mullan Jr, Adam Clayton and of course Bono. When the school closed, the band would use it as a place to rehearse during the early days of the 1970s.

Alongside a professional film crew, Bono also suggested that a film project could be also in the works. He also met several pupils and students, along with taking a tour of the school's music department.

Bono also stopped for a photograph, alongside a group of Mount Temple Students, which was shared via the official Twitter account of Bono's band U2.

“Was back in the library at Mount Temple,” its caption read. “The future is bright indeed".

“It definitely gave everyone a bit of a buzz,” one student told the Irish Independent. “A few teachers came in to stand at the back and listen to him speaking so there was a good group there listening to him speaking for about an hour".
