The Boyzone star made this decision to quit showbiz, intending to focus on his buiness interests.
Lynch began a business partnership, opened up a chain of 1920s inspired barbers called the 'Elk & Clipper'. The singer also owns an Irish bar in Chesire known as D13, named after the area that he grew up in. He partly owns this bar alongside his wife Sheena.
“In the last year or so I’ve made the active decision to completely exit from the industry, whether that be music or TV", Lynch revealed to New magazine.
"We moved up to Cheshire for business, hence why Sheena ended up on the show, and I’m ok with that. I’m happy to concentrate solely on the businesses that we have running", Lynch said. "We have about five or six. I can’t afford to go on tour for two months. It just doesn’t fit into my life".
Despite his departure, Lynch also revealed that himself and Sheena will be taking part in 'The Real Housewives Of Chesire'.
"The only thing you’ll see me do is Real Housewives because that is part of our lives and they came into our home and it is all genuine", he said.
