Boyzone bandmember Shane Lynch has revealed that the band will "never make music again" in an emotional interview.

Lynch spoke about this, while discussing the documentary, Boyzone No Matter What, in a recent chat with ITV's Lorraine.

While admitting that this documentary stirred up a lot of emotions after he watched it back, Shane Lynch has now declared that Boyzone will never make new music again.

“I don't think we’ll never make music again,” he said. “It's not our territory as a world".

In the interview, host Ranvir Singh said: “I saw the three hours of it yesterday, it takes you on an enormous journey. I cried".

 “Me too", Lynch replied.

"amazing"

Elaborating further on being interviewed for this documentary, Shane Lynch also added this.

“The girl who got the best out of us, Sophie, she was amazing for just us trusting in her", he said. “The guys in Curious, the guys who put the doc together, it's not a fluffy pop doc by any means. It's pretty deep and dark at points".

“I found it enjoyable, remembering certain things,” he reflected. “I'd forgotten a lot believe me, I'd forgotten a lot about that world".

“But watching the doc itself hearing the other boys' stories, I learned so much about them boys, watching this, more than I'd ever had living with them for the past 30 years as such".

“Their journey, their emotions, their hard times that they went through, for me I was in my own survival mode, I didn't have time for them and what they were going through".

"never be a band again"

Elsewhere, Shane Lynch also ruled out the prospect of Boyzone reuniting as a band.

“No, and I say this in the greatest respect", he said when asked.  “We’ll always be a band called Boyzone. But we'll never be a band again, I don't think we’ll never make music again. It's not our territory as a world".

“We've been there and done it. But to share a stage together, we’d be more than up for it", he added. “It's a little night of fun. Night on the town for everybody else, including us".

Earlier this week, Ronan Keating said that this documentary gets "justice" for their late bandmate Stephen Gately. More on this here.
