The recording hub Miraval Studios will begin hosting sessions next Summer. This studio has been inactive since the early 2000s, having been used by the likes of The Cranberries, AC/DC, Sting, Courtney Love and Slade.

Pink Floyd have also used the studio to record "The Wall", along with the Cure's "Kiss Me, Kiss Me, Kiss Me".

It was first built by French pianist Jacques Loussier in 1977 and is described by Quintard as “a space where you can produce anything from pop and rock, to hip-hop and classical records".

"super excited"

"We clicked", Quintard told the Hollywood Observor. “He [Pitt] came to my studio in Paris. It was a fantastic meeting. We talked for hours and hours. He talked to me about his plans for Miraval. I was obviously super excited, because as a Frenchman and a music lover, one of the Holy Grails is Miraval. I went over there, did my design for the space. We clicked on that side, and we moved forward".

“With Brad, we redesigned everything to be so simple, so pure. Light is everywhere", Quintard added. “The future is light".
