On an episode last week, it was revealed that one of the contestants, 58 year old Ron was a former member of pop music band from the 1980s, Prefab Sprout

He had been casually glossing over his interest in music, before revealing that he was part of the band that would become known as Prefab Sprout.

"Years ago I was a part of the band that became Prefab Sprout", he told Walsh, before revealing that he left the band because of the "stupid name".

"You did not?", exclaimed a shocked Walsh.

Ron also added that his next band's name was not exactly what you might call conventional. He said he joined a band called Sensible Pencils, leaving the audience in a fit of giggles.

"Touch of sliding doors everyone", Walsh said.

What is it about this show and comical innuendo??

Prefab Sprout were an English pop band from the 1980s.

They were formed in 1978 by brothers Martin and Paddy McAloon, before being joined by guitarist, vocalist and keyboard player Wendy Smith in 1982. They released their debut album Swoon in 1984.

Their other albums included Steve McQueen in 1985, and Jordon: The Comeback in 1990. Paul Lester from the Guardian hailed these albums as, "some of the most beautiful and intelligent records of their era".

Bradley Walsh also spoke recently about his plans to retire from presenting.

“You know what, in a couple of years time I won’t have to do any of it, I’ll be retired and that’ll be it", he told the Sliding Doors podcast recently.

He added, “It seems like I’m on your screen all the time only because I cram everything in a certain area of the year".

“We make 210 Chases, 16 Celebrity Chases, 16 Beat The Chasers. It’s only actually 86 days recording”.

He also said, “So out of 365 days, you’d imagine I have loads of time off. But once you’ve got your bedrock of shows set in, that allows you then to go off and do other things".
