Jacques O'Neill who is a 23 year old rugby player, will explain his decision to depart the Casa Amor villa in tonight's episode of the reality dating show.
Confirming this news, ITV has stated that O'Neill will "will explain his reasons to the islanders during tonight's episode".
This news comes after O'Neill's repeated attempts to win Paige Thorne back had backfired, after it emerged that Jacques had kissed Cheyanne Kerr, while Paige was away in Casa Amor.
Last night's epsiode of Love Island also saw Adam Collard return to the villa, and fellow contestants were quick to notice a spark of chemistry when he began talking to Paige. They noticed how happy Paige was when the pair were speaking, saying that Jacques was set to be "so intimidated" by this latest arrival.
"Jacques has made the decision to leave the villa. He will explain his reasons to the islanders during tonight’s episode", a Love Island spokesperson said.
Love Island airs on Virgin Media Two and ITV 2.
