The second season follows Lord Anthony Bridgerton, the eldest sibling and Viscount, as he sets about to find a suitable wife.
His efforts to uphold the family name and find a debutante who meets his impossible standards seem ill-fated until Kate Sharma and her younger sister Edwina arrive from India. When he begins to court Edwina, her sister realizes Anthony doesn't love her and does everything within her power to separate them.
