The singer had come to the attention of the public following some "suspicious" online activity, with numerous fans calling for a "wellness check" for her.
"I was calling because I am worried about the physical safety of a resident in your area", one fan wrote. “There’s been suspicious activity online and now her account has been deleted".
However, Ventura County Sheriffs released a statement, confirming that Spears was not in danger.
Since then, the singer has responded this recent controversey.
