Spears took to Instagram to seemingly respond to Timberlake's comments at a recent concert in New York.
While on stage at NYC this week, the former Nsync singer who dated Spears between 1999 and 2002, reportedly basted the Toxic singer, allegedly performing his hit Cry Me A River, which is supposedly about his former girlfriend.
In a video shared online, Timberlake can be heard saying, "I'd like to take this opportunity to apologise to absolutely f**king nobody".
In response, Britney Spears wrote this on Instagram, "Someone told me someone was talking s**t about me on the streets!!!!. Do you want to bring it to the court or will you go home crying to your mom like you did last time??? I'm not sorry!!!".
Earlier, Spears had apologised for "some of the things", that she wrote in her autobiography The Woman In Me, which was published last year.
In the book, Spears detailed her relationship with Timberlake, including making several allegations that he had cheated on her, as well as saying that she had an abortion, because he was not read to be a father.
In a post which has since been deleted, Spears wrote, "I wanna apologise for some of the things I wrote about in my book. If I offended any of the people I genuinely care about I am deeply sorry....".
