Performing at Nowlan Park on Sunday evening, Bruce Springsteen delivered a heartfelt rendition of the classic Pogues hit in front of a live audience, as part of his ongoing tour. This was Springsteen's first show in Kilkenny since 2013.
Following MacGowan's death last November, Bruce Springsteen paid an emotional tribute to him, saying: "Shane was one of my all-time favorite writers".
