Hailing the Queen as "remarkable", former footballer David Beckham wrote "Today, we celebrate our Queen’s Platinum Jubilee".
He also added, "70 years of service and inspirational leadership of our country. Let’s come together and commemorate her remarkable reign with a great British party these next few days".
Meanwhile, Beatles music icon Sir Paul McCartney shared a photo of himself and the Queen from last year, as he congratulated her on 70 years on the throne.
Former Spice Girls singer Geri Halliwell also shared a photo of the Queen meeting her and her bandmates Emma Bunton, Mel B, Mel C, and Victoria Beckham (David's wife).
Alongside a photo of her husband Rod Stewart in front of the Buckingham Palace gates, Penny Lancaster wrote, "Excitement and nervous for Saturday night #partyatthepalace".
Stewart will perform as part of Saturday night's Party At The Palace Concert which will be broadcasted on the BBC.
"Queen Elizabeth has given incredible service to the United Kingdom over the last 70 years and I’m delighted to be able to join her in celebrating her Platinum Jubilee with the Party at the Palace", Stewart had said of the concert.
"She has demonstrated to the world what a special person she is and how lucky we are to have her. This will be a momentous occasion".
Adam Lambert and Diana Ross will also perform at this concert.
