Colin Farrell was among the big winners at last night's Golden Globe Awards, thanks to his role in the DC Comics adaption The Penguin.
The Irish actor won the award for Best Performance by an Actor in a Limited Series, Anthology Series, or a Motion Picture Made for Television at the Golden Globes in California.
This also marks a third Golden Globes triumph for Farrell, having previously won for his roles in The Banshees of Inisherin, and In Bruges. Farrell was nominated in a category which also included fellow Irish star Andrew Scott.
Accepting the award, Colin Farrell joked that he had "no one to thank on this one - I did it all by myself!".
He continued: "You all know it takes a village".
Farrell also added that he even spent three hours in the make up chair every day to prepare himself for his role in The Penguin.
"In the morning, I drank black coffee, listened to 80s music, and I became a canvas for that team's brilliance", Farrell said.
The actor also paid homage to Andrew Scott, revealing that he did his first film with 25 years earlier, Drinking Crude, but it cannot be found anywhere!
"You can't even find it on Betamax," stated Farrell. "It doesn't exist. But we go back that far".
