Dec didn't even hear the professional gang outside as they attempted to rip down the iron, security gates. The police arrived at approximately 1am after being alerted by a neighbour but the burglars had escaped by car just moments before officers arrived.
They didn't manage to get inside the TV star's home thanks to his security system. A forensic team have been back to the West London property to check for DNA clues.
