Diddy's Children Release First Statement Since Rapper's Arrest And Charges

Last month, Combs was arrested in New York, and has been charged with sex trafficking, transporting for prostitution and racketeering. Diddy has pleaded not guilty to all charges.

Diddy who was reportedly placed on suicide watch, having been denied bail, is to face trial for these charges on May 5 next year.

Following this, six of Diddy's children, Justin, Quincy, Chance, Christian, as well as twins D'Lila and Jessie Combs have all released a joint statement on social media yesterday (October 22). 

“The past month has devastated our family. Many have judged both him and us based on accusations, conspiracy theories, and false narratives that have spiraled into absurdity on social media", they said. 

“We stand united, supporting you every step of the way. We hold onto the truth, knowing it will prevail, and nothing will break the strength of our family. WE MISS YOU & LOVE YOU DAD".

Diddy is facing several lawsuits, including from two men and three women, who claimed that they were sexually assaulted by the rapper at various parties across the US.

He has also been accused of raping a women as payback for her claim that she was involved in the fatal shooting of Tupac Shakur.

Diddy remains in custody at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York. and is expected to appear in court on December 18. It has been reported that he could face up to 15 years in prison if he is found guilty on all charges.
