The band were one of five acts who missed out on the final, with Norway, Serbia Switzerland, Finland, Portugal, Israel, Moldova, Czech Republic, Coratia, and Sweden securing their place in Saturday's showpiece.
Having won the competition a record 7 times, Ireland have failed to qualify for the Eurovision Song Contest final since Ryan O'Shaugnessey's 2018 entry, 'Together'.
Despite their early exit, Michael Kealy, RTÉ Eurovision Head of Delegation said afterwards, "We are extremely proud of Wild Youth tonight. They put on a brilliant performance and were fantastic representatives for Ireland".
