Since then, it has been reported that Tom Parker wrote in his autobiography Hope, that Ed Sheeran paid for some of his medical bills, while he was being treated. The autobiography will arrive on May 26.
According to excerpts from this book which were published in the Sun, Parker said, "Pretty much from the moment I was diagnosed, Ed Sheeran reached out to me with an offer to do anything he could to help".
"He didn’t need to do any of that, but my wife Kelsey and I are so grateful to him for his support. It meant the world", Parker added.
The Wanted singer also called Sheeran a "very special man". He also added that the singer will "probably be mad" that he has let the cat out of the bag by revealing that Sheeran had funded his medical bills.
After Parker passed away, Sheeran paid a heatfelt tribute to the singer on social media.
