After they were crowned winners of the reality series, a visibly tearful Ekin-Su sobbed that she "can't believe it".
Despite their fiery relationship, which spanned most of this series, the succesful couple will now share £50,000, with Love Island scrapping the option for one of the winning contestants to 'steal' the prize for themselves.
Following a rocky first few days having been coupled up on day three of the show, the couple have been inseparable, dubbing themselves 'The Italian Snack' and 'Turkish Delight'.
Gemma Owen and Luca Bish finished as runners up in Love Island 2022, while Irish contestant Dami Hope and partner Indiyah Polack finished third. Tasha Ghouri and Andrew LaPage came in fourth.
On top of this, ITV have also announced that there will be two series of Love Island in 2023, with one taking place in South Africa in the Winter, and the other taking place in Majorca during the Summer.
