Her last public appearance came at the 2023 Golden Globe Awards which she attended alongside her mother Priscilla.
Austin Butler won the award for Best Performance by an Actor in Motion Picture- Drama for his role as Elvis in the Baz Luhrman biopic about the music icon, and the actor paid tribute to Lisa Marie, hailing her as a "bright star" in a statement.
“My heart is completely shattered for Riley, Finley, Harper and Priscilla at the tragic and unexpected loss of Lisa Marie", he said.
He added, “I am eternally grateful for the time I was lucky enough to be near her bright light and will forever cherish the quiet moments we shared. Her warmth, her love and her authenticity will always be remembered".
Lisa Marie Presley is to be laid to her rest at Graceland alongside her late son Benjamin, who died in 2020.
